The idea for Chewbeads started in 2009 quickly after the birth of my child. Like a lot of children, he loved to put everything in his mouth and my pendants were a preferred. Like a lot of moms, I didn't feel comfortable letting him chew on them, with concern that they may break or have unwanted chemicals. As a veteran of the fashion market, I had a remarkable collection of bracelets and pendants, so with those as my motivation, I set out to develop soft, non-toxic jewelry, which was vibrant, trendy and, above all else safe.
