Chester (FCID# 08/07/2017 - 39)'s story

　　Oh, Chester (FCID# 08/07/2017 - 39) where to begin? I suppose we should begin from his start with FC. Chester was rescued off the streets in August 2017. He weighed just 7.5lbs. The streets were tough for Chester as evidenced by his battle wounds and weight. Chester had terrible infections in his mouth, and FC pulled all but 3 of his teeth. Luckily, he still is able to eat his beloved kibble. So what is Chesters personality like? Well, he is the sweetest cat ever! No lie: the nicest, most affectionate cat you will ever met. All he really wants it to be held and sit on your lap/chest. When you pick him up (which he always wants) he wraps his arms around your neck. He is a big purr machine and lap cat, lap cat, lap cat! Very laid back. Gets along with cats and dogs. JUST WANTS LOVE AND AFFECTION. Now, I just described an amazing cat, so you are probably wondering, why has FC had him so long!? Well we have not. Chester was adopted by Richard, a senior citizen looking for a companion. Richard LOVED Chester, they would do everything together. Eat tuna fish sandwiches, watch tv, sleep together, you name it. Sadly, Richard passed away peacefully with Chester by his side. Richard took good care of Chester: his coat looks beautiful and he now weighs over 10 lbs! We know that Richard would love nothing more for Chester to have a home where he is loved and cherished. Chester is now back in foster care and having lost his soul mate, he would really like a new, loving, forever home to live out his golden years. Chester will be happy with a warm lap and loving heart - that is all he needs. Well, and maybe some kibble - he loves that too! Chester is about 10-13 years old and is FIV+.
