Cheddar Brown's story

　　Cheddar Brown is a sweet, kind pit bull mix who arrived at Animal House in rough shape. Prior to his arrival, a good samaritan had been feeding Ched for over a year while he was stray in Nebraska. After Ched was hurt by other dogs in that area, this good samaritan brought him to Animal House, hoping that we could provide him with care and a soft place to land. We took in Mr. Cheddar Brown and he has been thriving with us ever since! Ched has recovered well from his injuries and is now working on his emotional rehabilitation. Ched is friendly and incredibly sweet although shy and nervous, especially on leash. Ched has much to learn in his new life but we know that a patient, calm, and dedicated forever family is exactly what he needs. Cheddar would do best in a home without young kids. He does seem to enjoy the company of other dogs and is adorably curious when meeting them!
