Charlotte is one of our miracle bunnies at BWF. She and her six babies were rescued from East Valley Animal Shelter from the BLUE ALERT list, basically meaning they were just about to be euthanized before BWF stepped in.
She's had quite a tough history, but has come through fighting, still hoping to land her forever home. Here's a bit she'd like to say herself!
Charlotte says:
"With help from BWF, my babies had moved on, and I was facing empty-burrow syndrome.
I then met Chocolate when he moved into a pen a few doors down from mine. When a vacancy occurred next to me, Chocolate moved in. As we gradually got to know each others' scent, we were hoping someone would take down the towel that visually separated us. And then the towel came down! And we ended up moving in together!
P.S.: I do admire Chocolate's adaptation to only three legs. He's also pretty laid back, so I think I'm going to be Top Bunny in this household. Sweet! (that is, unless YOU want to bring us into your home? Then perhaps you can be Top Bunny!)"
If you are interested in adopting Charlotte, please inquire here on Petfinder or contact us at [email protected] and we will send you an adoption package.
Thank you!
