My story
Charlie has had a hard start in life and he's only 20 months old. He was adopted from the Stanislaus animal shelter as a kitten to be a "farm cat" and help with the rodent population. Sometime in his first year of life his tail was damaged and became so infected that a good part of it was amputated to save his life. Fast forward to 2021 Christmas and he showed up in a neighborhood at least 15 miles from home after being missing from the farm for up to a month. He was hungry for both food and affection. His owner released him so Charlie can find a family and live indoors with all the safety that brings. He's a real cuddle-up, loud purring cat and enjoys the company of people. He does play a bit rough but hasn't broken skin on his fosters. (He did get a nail trim and that helps) He would do best as the only cat in the household. Charlie is 9 pounds of handsome love who needs a permanent home. Could you provide him with a loving place to live out the rest of his days?
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charlie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
