　　FRACTURE REPAIROn January 5, 2022, this dog had a hip fracture and leg wound repaired by a boarded veterinary surgeon.For the first 8 weeks, please keep this animal cage rested by limiting exercising and only taking out on short leash walks.After 10-14 days from the surgery, the incision should be rechecked by your primary veterinarian to ensure it is healing well. After 8 weeks a recheck radiograph is recommended. This should be done with your primary veterinarian. Front Street Animal Shelter can provide a $500 financial assistance to complete this. Please see the provided discharge instructions for more detailed recommendations post-operatively.
