My story
Champagne is a 2-year-old female Basset Hound mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She came to PAHS as a stray from out in the county and her owner never came looking for her. Champagne definitely has Basset Hound in her but she is mixed with something and we have no idea what! This cutie pie has a brown coat with black highlights spread throughout her coat. Champagne has the most beautiful and soulful eyes! She currently weighs 26 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog and she shouldn't get any bigger. Champagne is frisky and playful so she would love to be adopted to a family that is active. She would be a great dog with children and we believe she would also be good with dogs if properly introduced. Champagne has it going on! She has a wonderful temperament and she is the perfect sized to fit in just about any where. Please come meet this sweet girl and see for yourself what an awesome little girl she is! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
