My story

　　Chamber AKA Chumley AKA Chaimie AKA Chester AKA Chorizo is a rescue mutto from the Four Corners region (specifically, near Gallup, NM). He's about 11 months old currently, nearly full grown at 57 lbs, and fully house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and doggie door trained. He is up to date on all his shots (D2PP, rabies, and bordatella) and has been microchipped. Chumley was neutered on Feb 8, 2023 and will be ready to go home with his furever family by mid February.

　　This doggo is a super snuggly and friendly floofer. He loves to be petted and appreciated, typically putting his face nose-down into your lap, hiding his eyes from being able to see you and effectively communicating "I trust and love you completely, thank you so much for being my hooman." He has some puppy energy and outbursts of the zoomies, but overall his energy level is about a 6 out of 10... he's used to a 45-minute morning walk (about 2.5 miles at a very slow pace) with his foster people in Longmont, Colorado, and then he's good to snooze away the rest of the day. His super thick/insulatory and soft coat will make him a willing and enthusiastic companion for active humans who do winter adventures (hiking, snowshoeing, maybe cross-country skiing??) Check out these videos of Chaimie playing with his foster brother Ernie, is often too "forceful" and physical with his play and gets other dogs angry... Chamber just brushes it off and is stoked to have a play buddy:
