My story
Foster Notes: Chamaca does not like cats and would not do well without a yard. She is about 13-14 lbs., well-muscled, and very attentive, tail wags just with a glance, she likes to be close by but doesn't demand a lot of attention. Calm and collected even though I think she was still nursing a litter when she arrived. Her energy and enthusiasm is that of a dog in her prime. She is tolerant of my threesome but has made it clear to my 2 year old chihuahua she is not interested in roughhousing.Groomed, clipped nails, look at teeth, all ok with her.I walk her most days with 2 of the others. Good on the leash and harness but does react to other dogs passing. She takes a moment to warm up to new people. Crates willingly, with a treat, at night and when I'm out of the house, barks a bit initially.Uses a dog door, no "accidents" in the house. Really enthusiastic about meals and treats.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Chamaca, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
