My story

　　I'm Chadwick, a big 2 year old lovebug. I am SO, SO social and want you to give me love whenever you can. I will jump on your lap to purr for you, I will talk to you to get your attention, and I would love it if you'd pet my belly. Please don't stop! I'm good with other cats, too, and would likely be fine with kids who are gentle with cats since I just want attention all the time. I'm a MAJOR lapcat, so if that is what you are looking for, then I'm your guy!I'm also FIV+ (see below), which isn't a big deal; I will just need a good, healthy diet and to stay inside so that I'm not exposed to illnesses. I promise to give you endless amounts of love and loyalty if you choose me!*FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is transmitted through a very deep bite or in utero. It is typically seen in unneutered male cats that have spent some time outdoors (like Chadwick) where the likelihood of altercation is high. Cats with this condition can lead long, normal lives, but it is important to keep them indoors and healthy. FIV leads to increased susceptibilty to infections; if the cat is fed a high quality diet and kept free from parasites and other dangers, then the quality and length of life is usally excellent (many cats live over 20 years). Neutered FIV+ cats live with FIV- cats without transmitting it to them. Chadwick is not on any medications. Interested in adopting?
