My story
Meet Cesar! Cesar came to us after being found as a stray and was never claimed. We believe he was born in August of 2020, and would do well with most ages and other animals with proper introduction. Cesar loves people, and following his nose wherever it takes him outside! He is currently around 10 pounds. Since he has been with us, he has not been known to keep a clean kennel so he may need some help with potty training, especially when learning a new routine. Cesar is very much looking forward to finding a home to call his very own again!
All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org
When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.
If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
If you have any questions feel free to send us an email at [email protected], send us a message on Facebook, or call or text .
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cesar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
