My story
Hidy do! My name is Cecil. This big four-year-old shepherd mix is looking for a new home. I was picked up by the great deputies of Animal Control as I ran on a very busy road out in the county! Someone called Animal Control to come for me. Well I was glad for the ride to the shelter. I was happy to stop dodging speeding cars on that long dark road! Anyway I waited my allotted time and I am now ready to meet new families! I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive. I know with the help of the shelter I will get through treatment with flying colors! If you would like to donate to my treatment I know the shelter would appreciate that. If you would like to foster me through treatment and then adopt me that would be great! Oh one thing you should know about me if you think you might like to adopt me. I can climb fences, so make sure your yard is secure and maybe a tall privacy fence would be a good option!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cecil, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
