Cecil's story
es, we are a rabbit rescue, but we're making Cecil an honorary bunny because he is such a great dog! Cecil was rescued by one of our members as he was a starving stray who was in danger of being shot because he was trying to find food in garbage cans.
Cecil has had his vaccinations, heartworm, flea/tick preventative and has been wormed. He will be neutered before going to new home. His vet says he is 6-8 months old and the best we can tell, he is a blue tick hound mix. He needs a secure back yard and room to run. Since he is young and very smart he will be quite trainable. We are working on sit and down, and we're happy to say hes a quick learner!
He would be great with a home with older children and friendly dogs. He loves people and getting petted and loved on is his greatest joy. His fosterer says he never barks and is very well-behaved. He is still a bit of a puppy and loads of fun!
