Cattle Dog - Daphnee - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
**Meet Daphnee** She is a wonderful cattle dog mix that was rescued from a local shelter. She is now in a wonderful foster home and is ready to find her forever home! Daphnee doesn't jump, bite, bark, knock into you, dig, destroy, chew, or even get on the furniture! Daphne is potty trained (never had an accident), doggy door trained. She walks pretty well on a leash, (she pulls a bit but because she's so light it's more like a tug here and there) sits nicely in the car without having to wear a seat belt harness.
She's great with new people and adores children. She tolerated two girls playing "beauty shop" with her. She sat and got her nails painted and ribbons put in her hair. Daphne just loves affection and attention. She is a VERY sweet, sweet girl. I don't know for sure about cats, but I don't think she's a fan of them. She gave a few in the neighborhood the death stare. I think it might be her need to herd them like you were saying.
I've taken her to Petsmart with me and I've been trying to expose her to more situations and she seems to do well around other dogs. She mainly ignores them. She'll acknowledge them, but doesn't HAVE to go visit them. I've been walking her and my other dog nightly together to see if that'll help the behavior. Daphnee's adoption fee is $51 and includes her spay, vaccinations and license per Maricopa County.
