Cattle Dog - Cowboy - Large - Adult - Male - Dog

　　9-16-13 UPDATE: Cowboy is truly enjoying life at his new foster home. They say he is sweet & loyal, picks a person to really show his affection, and he really likes to cuddle! They describe him as medium energy and he has gained a lot of confidence in their care. He would do best with quite a bit of room to run or, he LOVES swimming!! He's good with other dogs and has no problem being bottom of the pack. HE does love his pack so would probably not be happy as an only dog. He also like cats. He has natural herding instinct with no training. The only "bad" about this boy is that he does have a prey drive that needs to be watched and he chews plush toys & his blanket,which he also sucks! LOL! Cowboy is a sweet, beautiful boy that needs a home of his own to realize his full potential. He is very in tune to his handler and wiling to learn - will do very well with his own person!! Was found in a box, with 8 siblings, at about 2 weeks of age so we have no idea what breed(s) he actually is, but suspect a good amount of lab. 7-23-13 UPDATE: Cowboy is now in another foster home where he is learning the joys of playing fetch & frisbee and spending active time with other dogs. He is a little insecure with new dogs and new situations but adjusts well. He likes to be active and might even enjoy frisbee or agility with the right training, but would also be a great running and/or hiking partner!! He really needs his own person and/or family to help him become the wonderful dog we all know he will one day be!!!
