Catalpa's story
Catalpa (named after a tree) is a bit shy still at the orphanage but can be coaxed out of hiding with some patience. She is improving!
This stunning cat is five-years-old, big girl. She was adopted out to a family by us when she was a kitten along with a litter mate and then about a month ago we got a call from a city shelter saying the owners left her and her sister Sassafras there because the couple were having a baby and didnt want the cats anymore. They asked if we would like to take them back.
Theyve been in our care after a volunteer went picked them up a short time later and brought them to us. Catalpa would do fine as an only cat or can live with other dogs and cats if introductions are slow.
