Catalina's story

　　Catalina is an Amazing girl. She has lived most of her life on the streets with her owner. Her owner would leave her tied to a fence while he went to work. This is how she came to us. Someone found her and brought her here. We located the owner and made an agreement to trade boarding for work. This worked for a while but her length of time with us became longer and longer. She has been staying with us on and off for the last year.. He would take her on the weekends and on the last visit she became pregnant. So, we cared for her during pregnancy, raised her puppies and found them new homes. Her owner has now vanished.and living at the rescue is not where she should spend her life. Catalina is about 6 years old, very devoted to her person, spayed, and housebroken. She is very intelligent, and obedient. Catalina is social but can be selective on which dog she likes. She seems to be okay with cats and children . Catalina is looking for a home where she wont be left alone,everyday for 8 hours. She is still very active and loves playing outdoors, going on walks and hikes and especially loves just being with her people. If you are looking for an adult dog, about 55 lbs, and one to be a new family pet or BFF, then you need to come meet Catalina.
