He was very thin but is now filled out and has a beautiful soft coat. He is heartworm positive but on the slow-kill treatment. He is a very nice loving dog, 54 pounds. He does not like cats-- at all! He cannot go into a home with cats. He is fine with kids over 5years old. It was also discovered through an x-ray that he had a shotgun pellet in his leg so he has a condition that will require him not to be a "running partner" for someone and he should not be allowed to play rough with other dogs. Floyd is 2 1/2 years ol;d, weighs about 55 lbs and is heartworm positive. He is on the slow-kill heartworm treatment. ADOPTION FEE: $85.00 ABOUT OUR PETS: All of our pets available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, tested for heartworms, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and are on flea & heartworm preventative medication. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: To give each dog the best possible home we require a completed Adoption Application. Screening and approval by our Adoption Coordinators and a home visit may be required to make sure this pet fits into your home and the home fits our pet.
