My step-son has a beautiful female catahoula/bluetick mix that he’d like to rehome. Picture does not do her justice, her hair is longer now and she is absolutely beautiful! She does not enjoy being inclosed in a pen and definitely needs room to run due to her breed. She has shown some aggression (towards men) if she is cornered and she doesn’t seem to like other dogs very well. I’m not sure if she is scared or just doesn’t like them. I have smaller kids here often and hate for one of them to get hurt if she ever got to lose or if they got into her pen. I feel like she would warm up to a female owner quicker than a male, once you gain her trust. She has a lot of potential. Would be a wonderful farm dog! We purchased her hoping once she warmed up she could be trained with our other dog to coonhunt but sadly do not have the time to make it happen right now. We’d like her to go to someone who will work with her and keep her happy.
