　　Meet our cute little Cashew! Cashew is a 2 year old, 7 lb Pomeranian. Cashew is a shy guy that is learning to walk on leash, but little noises startle him and he gets overwhelmed at the dog park. We feel he'd be okay as an only dog or with a similar sized dog that is not too energetic. He does not seem to know what to do when put outside for a potty break, but doesn't mind staying in the crate or a small penned off area with potty pads when he can't be watched. He likes to follow the boys in his foster home around and be held. He rides well in the car and will sleep through the night in his crate. He is a little timid at first, but very cuddly and sweet once he feels safe. He likely was not exposed to the outside world much before his foster home, so he will take some time to adjust to being outside. Cashew came into the shelter with very matted fur & flea allergies. His coat had to be clipped down short, but he will grow out a nice Pomeranian coat and require grooming maintenance & regular flea treatment. Cashew is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover medical expenses and supplies while in foster care. Please fill out an application today to meet Cashew!

　　All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.

　　We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

　　All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.

　　Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
