This sweet 10 years young stunning seal point Siamese came into our rescue program from Anchorage Animal Care and Control a few weeks ago due to some medical concerns. In the previous homes he had, he was having repeated vomiting issues, however there was so medical history to tell us what could be causing it.
On intake we did a full exam, including radiographs (to see if he could have asthma) and bloodwork. Casey's results all came back looking great, including testing negative for Felk/FIV. Casey is also missing quite a few teeth.
We have been utilizing a slow feeder (we love the Northmate Prong Feeder, we use this with several of our fosters) to help pace his eating. He may have been throwing up because he was eating quickly or swallowing whole due to the lack of teeth. Since being in our program he has
thrown up 3 times and they were fully digested food with hair, nothing like what was being described from the other homes.
Now for some info about this PURRtacular fellow. Casey is a most lovable, sweet fellow. He talks, dances, snuggles is very playful and is a gentleman. He has been getting to know his foster buddies, Barley, Calliope, Bogart and Snuffy and so far everyone is doing well together. Enrichment and friendship building time is implemented every day in their foster home and we aim to end each "session" on a positive note.
He is an exceptionally sweet and loving fellow that would make a wonderful addition to your loving home.
Mojo's Hope always wants to ensure that our rescues choose the most wonderful home possible. To help our adopters match up with the PURRfect pet, we are asking something unique for our adoption fee. First we ask to please fill out our adoption application. Our adoption fee for cats is generally $100.00.
Instead of paying this adoption fee, we are asking our adopters to use that money towards preparing for the arrival of their newest addition.
