All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet.

　　If you are looking for a social butterfly then Casey is your girl!

　　She is a 2-3-year-old female rat terrier mix.

　　She has a smooth chocolate brown and white coat and is taller and with longer legs than a rat terrier.

　　Casey weighs about 25 pounds and this is full grown.

　　She was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been down there for well over a month and her owner did not come to claim her. Casey had been found as a stray and picked up by Animal Control.

　　Casey is very friendly and outgoing.

　　She loves to be with you and loves to play.

　　As with most rat terriers, she has a lot of energy and is always checking things out with her curious mind.

　　She seems to play well with other dogs and should be fine with children ages 9 and older.

　　She may have too much energy for an apartment unless she goes on nice long walks or jogging.

　　Casey will require a fenced-in yard if left outside any unattended.

　　We have started with her crate training.

　　Casey is up to date on her vet care, spayed, heartworm negative and is microchipped.

　　She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

　　Casey is a wonderful, fun dog who will keep you going and keep you smiling!
