My story

　　Captain is a 3-year-old male Pit Bull who has already been neutered.  He was brought in as a stray who was found in a neighborhood in Prattville.  Captain is brown with white markings; and he is a very handsome guy. He weighs 103 pounds so he is an extra big boy!  Captain is high energy and strong!  He would need an experienced owner who could work with him on his leash training.  Captain is a good boy and a friendly fellow.  He would be fine in a home with older children, due to his energy level and his size, he would NOT be good in a home with small children.  If you have another dog--a meet and greet with your dog would be required by the staff before Captain could be adopted.  Captain is a very nice dog who will need a patient owner who is willing to spend some time with him.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  December 23, 2022, 12:50 pm
