Part 1 starts with Plat Book 10 Page 129 and ends with Plat Book 16 Page 111The plat books for the city of Cape Coral were sold in three sections. Each section represented a part of the city of Cape Coral. The individual pages within the plat books are photographic copies of the original plat pages recorded and permanently filed with the clerk of the court in Lee County Florida. These recorded plats were designed by engineers and showed the exact dimensions of every element of the subdivision that was to be developed. The plat pages show the block numbers, street names, canal names and the specific sizes and dimensions of each. The plat pages recorded with the county, show the exact widths of all the streets plus easements. These same pages also show the exact width and depth of every parcel of property to be developed in Cape Coral. The plat books are divided by a unit number. The unit numbers do not run in a numerical order. It is my personal suspicion, that the unit numbers are in order of recording and development of the subdivision. After I had received the books from the manufacturer, I inserted tabs for each individual unit. I did this because the units are not in any recognizable order. The tabs make it easy to find the individual units inside the book. Over the years, only one of the tabs has caused the corner of the page to which it is attached to tear. That is the first page of units up. Other than that one, none of the pages are torn.Plat book, part one includes the following units, in the following order:Unit 2 part 1, unit 1 part 1, unit 2 part 2, unit 1 part 2, unit 2 part 3, unit 4 part 1, unit 1 part 1 amended, unit 6 part 1, unit 6 part 2, unit 6 part 3, unit 5, unit 2 part 2, unit 4 part 2, unit 3, unit 7, unit 8, unit 9, unit 10, unit 11, unit 12, unit 13, unit 14, unit 15, unit 16, unit 18, unit 19, unit 20, unit 21, unit 22, unit 17, unit 23, unit 6 part 5, unit 24, unit 27, unit 25, unit 28, unit 26, unit 31, unit 1 part 3, unit 32, unit 29, unit 30, unit 33, unit 2 part 5, unit 2 (Cypress Lakes country club Estates), unit 2 part 4, unit 31 part 1, unit 34, unit 38, unit 35.After I had received the books from the manufacturer, I inserted tabs for each individual unit.
