Canon EOS 10D Camera Body, battery/charger, CF card. I bought this from an estate sale, untested. Camera starts without CF card, display works, flash works. Here's the weird part---with no CF card, everything seems to work, and you can take 1 picture (sorry, the image of the one picture is not so great, but it did autofocus). To take a second picture, the camera needs to be turned off. Insert a CF card, turn it on, and the camera sulks like my cairn terrier. The LCD display says "EOS", and will do so until the battery runs out (I've tried, thrilling, it is not), but the rear display stays dark. I've tried updating firmware, power cycling, contact cleaner on the pins, using a different CF card, burning sage, nothing seems to work. I don't see any bent pins in the CF connector. What's in the box: Camera body, charger and Canon battery (that works well enough to test the camera, at least), 512MB and 4GB cards, and my hopes this thing will go to someone who can fix it. Or take it apart. Or sacrifice it to Cthulu. If you buy it, I won't have to care...
