My story

　　08/26/21 This lovely lady is Camilla. Camilla is a 1 year 7 month old spayed female Alaskan Husky! Camilla was surrendered to the shelter with 3 of her puppies (Harry, Hermione and Ron) who have already been adopted! Here at the shelter Camilla has been nothing but sweet! Camilla was previously an outside dog and appears to be most comfortable being outside. If planning to transition Camilla to being an indoor dog please keep in mind that she will need work on potty training and just the general ins and outs of being an indoor dog! Camilla should always be on a leash when outdoors or in a secured fenced in area as she was previously use to having the roam of the land and may not come back when called. We do not know how Camilla does with other dogs, cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please take caution if choosing to introduce her to other animals. Here at the shelter Camilla has seemed friendly towards her doggy neighbors but slow and controlled introductions should be done in her new home. Alaskan huskies tend to have a higher prey drive so if you have any of those smaller critters around please keep that in mind. It's unlikely that Camilla has any background in mushing or skiijoring but this may be something she would like if her new owners would like to teach her! Camilla is a sweet girl who was a fabulous mother, and is now looking for her new forever home where she can be care free and look forward to new adventures.
