Camelia's story
READ ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM FOR ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS
Camelia is a very inquisitive, intelligent, cuddly little girl who turned 3 months old in April. She enjoys exploring, playing and her toys. She loves the big dogs in her foster home and is very wiggly and happy to be around them
especially the big red male dog who has a gorgeous red cost just like her. Camelia is a very friendly puppy and loves cuddles, especially after running around and playing with her toys. Camelia is a mix of large dogs (maybe Husky and Pit Bull?) but is a small puppy, she will likely be medium size when grown. Right now she is a happy, healthy little explorer with a beautiful soft velvet red coat and hazel eyes.
The lucky person or family who adopts Camelia should be prepared for the lifelong commitment of owning a dog, and the daily exercise and training that smart, energetic breeds require.
It's not easy to find homes for adult Pit Bull mixes if you find out you can't keep them once they are full grown so please make sure you are committed for life if you adopt this baby. Many landlords don't allow Pit Bulls, so we do require that you own your home to adopt this breed mix.
Camelia is being fostered in La Honda. Her adoption fee of $400 covers her spay surgery and first DHPP vaccination. We will offer a $100 refund if Camelia's adopter achieves her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification before she is 3 years old.

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from shelters where they are in danger. Our foster volunteers provide loving temporary homes for our rescued animals until they are adopted.
By adopting a cat or dog, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years or more! We are committed to placing our rescued animals with families who are prepared for the responsibility of owning an animal for its entire lifetime, so that they are never again at the mercy of the shelter system.
