Calvin (Terrier)'s story

　　Heyyyy there. I'm Calvin. People tell me I look like Calvin Harris, and I slow jammed to some Eagles on my freedom ride outta dodge so I guess you could say I'm musically inclined. My foster peeps think I'm 4 years old, and have had some Monday scaries for a while now. Its been many months since I was rescued from a very traumatic life, but my foster family has been so patient with me and my learning to be a dog. My foster dog siblings have taught me all the doggo things like dog doors, potty training, toy playing and confidence on a leash. While we are in the subject I have a learn to love relationship with a harness and a leash, but boy once I get them on and get outside I sure like to strut my fluffy stuff! I can be mischievous and sneaky with things I love! Foster mom says its part of my charm. I adore car rides, and outdoor adventures (even if I seem hesitant). I prefer older less crazy kids to have as companions and have been living with the coolest 7-year-old so I know what kids are. I appear shy and scared at first, and take a bit of time to warm up, but once I trust you I am the sweetest doggie ever. I enjoy having a quiet place to call my own when I get overwhelmed (we call this the safe zone. A crate with no door, or a dog bed in the master closet work well). I am looking for a family with a furry friend to help guide me, unmeasurable amounts of love and patience as well.

　　Because of Calvin's past he is still overwhelmed in new situations and with new people, .He will need a lot of time, patience and continued confidence work to be hus best Calvin self. His perfect person or family will be experienced with dogs with Calvin's needs and committed to helping him meet those needs.
