Callie (FCID# 02/11/2019 - 49)'s story
Callie FCID: 2/11/19 - 49
Callie is a sweet 3-4 year old cat. Her fur is plushie and her temperament is very calm. Very loving- especially with women- Callie will follow you around where ever you go. She loves being held, and is the classic lady lap cat.
Callie was originally found when she was dumped on a nice ladies farm, who proceeded to feed her. Callie would follow her around, and seek out pets. While she got on well with the chickens there, Callie's favorite sport became taunting the male cats inside the woman's house through her glass doors. Taking delight in instigating the boys into a frenzy, making them fight each other and attack the door, Callie also was not the nicest to the other strays on the property. A true queen, she did not share attention or pets very well. It became an issue, and it was decided to find Callie a forever home in someones house.
Since Callie has come to a foster home, she has been gentle and sweet, and loves cat beds and sitting in the window to soak up sun.
Not one for crazy antics or jumping on counters, Callie is the perfect cat if you like a quieter life(aside from the occasional friendly meow to say hello), and are seeking companionship, without the stress and mess of a higher energy, younger cat.
If you are interested in meeting her, an appointment can be set up to meet Callie in her fosters home.
Callie - People and chicken friendly, not so good with other cats. Please submit a no-obligation adoption application to meet Callie: /application.php. Thank you! (Foster: Caroline M.)
