　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

　　Please meet Pansy Parkinson, a gorgeous Calico "teenage" girl. Pansy is approximately 1 year, 6 months old (1/13). Pansy weighs under 9 lbs, a bit smaller than a medium-sized adult cat. Pansy is a gentle, very sweet and affectionate girl. She has the typical reserved, introverted Calico personality, with a strong will to bond to her close companions. Pansy's hobbies include climbing just to see how high she can go, as well as finding cool places to hide in! So, naturally, Pansy is in love with cat trees, cat condos, scratching towers, etc! She's especially cute when she cuddles with other friendly cats - she often uses them as pillows for nap time! Pansy is absolutely gorgeous and hopes to find a new home with a lot of love! 　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help offset vet and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
