　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

During November & December 2012, we've waived adoption fees for adult cats 1 year and older and reduced younger cats' fees to only $40! Make a cat's Christmas wish come true!

　　Please meet Pansy Parkinson, a gorgeous Calico "teenage" girl. Pansy is approximately 1 year, 4 months old (November 2012). Pansy weighs under 9 lbs, and appears that she could stay a petite girl. Pansy is a gentle, very sweet and affectionate girl. She has the typical reserved, introverted Calico personality, with a strong will to bond to her close companions. Pansy's hobbies include climbing just to see how high she can go, as well as finding cool places to hide in! So, naturally, Pansy is in love with cat trees, cat condos, scratching towers, etc! 　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help offset vet and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
