　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This very beautiful girl is Christine, a long-haired Calico/Maine Coon female adult cat. Christine is a young girl likely under a year old, but no more than two years at the most. Christine is a friendly, medium-energy girl who'd make a wonderful companion! She does fine around other friendly cats, and should do fine around older children. She's gentle and friendly, but she may not want to be handled by smaller children. Christine may do fine around small dogs. Contact us or visit our cat adoption center to meet Christine!

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
