Buttercup recently arrived with a litter of 5 week old pups. Now, she has finished weaning her pups and is ready to find her own forever home. Two of her pups are adopted, and there's great interest in the rest.
Don't worry. She will be spayed before her adoption!
Buttercup is very dog and people social, super affectionate, and very smart! She knows basic commands and is a quiet, obedient and gentle girl. With her sturdy body and short legs, she looks like a mini-Boxer!
To foster, adopt, or meet up with our dogs, please fill out an application at the Northern California "Family Dog Rescue" website:
There you will get more information about a particular dog and learn about our San Francisco-based, non-profit rescue. If you fill out an adoption or foster questionnaire online, we will get back to you quickly. For general questions you still have AFTER visiting our site, please email us at the contact address you will find on our site. The volunteer who posts here does not handle adoptions, fosters, or questions involving that process. Thank you for your patience!
There are no fees to foster and we will provide you with support as needed, including food if requested, vet care, and we will be glad to respond to concerns on an ongoing basis. Fostering is really key to our ability to rescue dogs!
The fee to adopt is on a sliding scale and generally includes spay/neuter, micro-chip and up to date shots.
