Buster is a 2 year old black and tan terrier mix who weighs in at just over 19 pounds. He was transferred to rescue from a local shelter when he was returned for having issues with men after a trial period of a few days! He had previously come from another in-state shelter where he lived for a full year! This poor little guy has had a tough start in life and would love to find a loving family to bond with. He is fine with his foster dad who takes him outside for potty breaks and feeds him. He has also done well playing with other dogs although he is a little jealous when it comes to people attention, so he might do best as an only dog. He would be a great running, hiking or walking companion. He loves affection and attention. He seems to be crate trained, but will need a good fenced in backyard. He got out of his foster home once for a run around the neighborhood, but came back into the enclosure to be with his people.
Buster is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Buster, go to and complete the on-line adoption application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Buster for a visit.
