My story
Generally if a dog makes it in their new home for a year they are likely going to truly be in their forever home, as most adoptions that will fail, do so within that time frame. Buster thought he had it made. He got adopted around 1 year old. He lived a great life for over FIVE YEARS! Unfortunately, Busters human mom decided to move and she moved to a place where his breed wasnt accepted. As we spend time with Buster and we see the confusion in his face as he scans his surroundings looking for his humans, we wonder....does he know they arent coming back? Does he think theyre on vacation? Does he think he did something wrong? We so wish he could talk to us. Weve made this 6 year old, Shar Pei/Catahoula mix a promise. We promise to find his TRUE forever home this time. One that wont ditch him because they want a new house and a new life. Buster is house trained and dog friendly. He was raised with kids and even spent some time with cats. Buster is at our facility in Windsor. If you want to mend his broken heart, please apply at
