My story
Burkley loves dogs, adults and kids. He has not been cat tested so we aren't sure how he would do with cats, but he's still young so with some training and some dog-savvy cats, he should do okay.
Burkley was pulled from the shelter at just a few months old with a bad injury from being hit by a car. The rescue is covering expenses to start him on PT, and we're hoping he can keep his leg as he has been doing well the past couple of months.
Burkley will be neutered 3/23, and will be ready for his forever family once that is complete. He did have some separation anxiety early on, which has improved once he settled in with his foster family. It is likely he will relapse on that a bit in a new environment, so he will need a family who is willing to have some patience and work with him on it (and he'd especially love a family who is home more!).
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Burkley, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
