This is a great resource book for anyone planning to make outdoor playthings for their kids. It is written by Bill Barnes. It is 230 pages of long and a softcover. It has numerous examples and designs. It covers everything from swings, slides and sandboxes to seesaws, etc. But more importantly it has guidelines and size recommendations for designing and building your own items for kids. It also has recommendations on wood and methods for attaching and bracing. I could go on and on. A must for anyone taking on this type of project. Asking $20.
