My story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buddy...What a perfect name for this sweet yet stoic little dog.
Buddy found himself in the shelter when his owner moved to a care home because of declining health. Once acclimated in his foster home, he has shown himself to be the perfect little gentleman, happy to stay close to his people, but not eager to be a lap dog. As is befitting of his senior status, Buddy can be set in his ways. No crate for this little guy - don't even think about it. His self-designated place is sitting next to his favorite people on the couch to watch a baseball game. He seems to prefer men but is happy to get a head or belly rub from anybody. Buddy was debarked by his previous owner so his bark sounds more like a dry cough. At 11 years young he will require certain eye and allergy medications for the remainder of his life. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash, enjoying greeting new people and other dogs while strolling around the neighborhood. He is a lovely little dog who will love you with all his heart and make a wonderful companion.
Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
