My story

　　Bucky is a 12 month old steam shovel, I mean, Bucky is a 12 month old very buck-toothed dog. Her underbite is legendary and has been the source of her endlessly cute photos. Bucky is very friendly to other dogs and people that she knows, she runs licking from face to face wagging her tail all the way. With dogs Bucky doesn't know, she is nervous and excited at first which usually means that she likes to bark excitedly at them, but she can be calmed down easily when she is riled up. Over time she seems to be improving. When it comes to new people, Bucky seems friendly and without a care. 

　　A little background- Bucky was surrendered by her former owner and was one of many other dogs who were not properly cared for. She was recovered from a livestock enclosure where the dogs were kept, she was malnourished and very sick when originally rescued. In the months since, she has made a wonderful recovery and is at her full weight, living her best healthy life.

　　Bucky's personality seems to be a nice mix of independence and friendliness. She is happy enough to lay down across the room and nap by herself. She doesn't need to be attached at the hip, and rarely gets jealous of other dogs getting attention. As well as being very playful and docile, she loves pats, hugs, and snuggles during naps. It has been a pleasure being with Bucky and seeing her get excited to experience and try new things, like her first time seeing snow, or the first time chasing bubbles in the backyard. SHE. LOVES. BUBBLES. Bucky can't wait to go on adventures with her new people even if it is just to the couch for some snuggling. Message her soon because she is excited to meet you!
