Meet adorable Bruce! Bruce is a 1 year old, 11 lb Chihuahua mix. He is as close to perfection as you could ask for in a little dog. Bruce would be a good choice for a first time dog owner, he is very easy to care for. He will relax and fall in love with his person within two or three days. Due to his size, he should be in a home with adults and children old enough to handle him with care. Bruce has a great personality and temperament. He is very friendly and loves to be held and cuddled. He is also very playful and spunky. Bruce gets along with other small dogs & doesn't show much interest in cats. Bruce is potty trained with no accidents in the his foster home. He likes to be outside and go for walks. Bruce is content in his crate & very comfortable riding in the car. He is a quiet dog who very rarely barks. He will whimper a bit when left alone. He eats well and loves treats. His new owner should be careful about over feeding, vet says he should weigh no more than 12 lbs due to luxating (floating) knee caps on his rear legs. He is on Glucosamine supplements recommended by the vet to manage the condition. Bruce is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover medical expenses and supplies. Please fill out an application today to meet Bruce!

All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.

We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.

Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.

Thank you for visiting our dogs located at
