Brownie's story
Brownie was surrendered to a Southern California Shelter back in August. One of our volunteers went and met him, and we made arrangements to pull him. He was rescued 25 minutes before the scheduled euthanization. Our goal was to give him some love, and then let him go if he was sick (as the owners had suggested). Well, 4 months have gone by. We've made several trips to the vet, and we have been able to take care of his badly infected ears and skin.
He is still full of life and has no plans to leave us any time soon... however, since he is very old, we are looking for a fospice home ... meaning One Planet Rescue will continue to take care of his medical needs to keep him comfortable for the rest of his sweet life. He needs someone to let him outside every few hours to do his business, and other than that, he eats and sleeps.
If you're interested to learn more about what it takes to become a fospice home for little man Brownie, please fill out our online application and we will arrange a meet and greet.
