Let Lizzie into your heart and home!
Looking for a high energy dog -- then this is the one for you! Lizzie is a two year old female Brittany spaniel mix. She has a beautiful mostly golden red, medium long coat with some white markings. She is very slim, weighing only 32 pounds, and could stand to gain a few more pounds. But she may just have a slim build. She is as tall as she is going to get.
Lizzie was found and dropped off at our local animal shelter where she had been down there for almost two months. Lizzie is very excitable and energetic. She loves to play and would be a great dog to run or go on walks with. We don't see her doing well in an apartment and she will need a fenced-in yard to run around freely in. Lizzie tends to be the dominant dog and we would need to do a trial if there are other dogs because she doesn't always like all dogs, especially other dominant ones. Lizzie would be great with older kids, not young ones because she is still jumpy and may knock them over!
Lizzie loves attention and loves to be with you so she doesn't want to be stuck outside all the time, but inside with you when you are home. We have started her housetraining. Lizzie is up to date on her vet care, spayed and is heartworm negative. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. So go grab your running shoes and Lizzie and off y'all go -- your own personal trainer!!
