Bretagne's story
Meet Beautiful Bretagne (pronounced Brittney). We introduced you to Bretagne on 9/11 and she is honorably named after the last-surviving 9/11 canine Hero, a Golden Retriever who passed away a couple of years ago. Well, now our Bretagne NEEDS a hero
or a family of heroes to call her own. Bretagne is a purebred 3-year old ( 9-26-2018) Yellow Labrador Retriever and is around 70 pounds. She has had an unsettling couple of months
so we are trying to rebuild her trust and confidence in her life and we hope you will be willing to do the same. She needs an active family who can stimulate her both mentally and physically
a family who can rebuild that confidence and positively reinforce calm, quiet behavior. We recommend Bretagne to be the only dog in the household, but may be able to add brother dog in the future
just no feline siblings! Regarding training
Bretagne is very food and treat motivated, which is great for a lab in training! She already knows how to sit, down and were working on stay. She is also crate trained, walks easily using a gentle lead harness and is housebroken. We do notice that Bretagne barks at cars and people walking on the street, but again
once her confidence builds, we expect to see improvement with her being vocal. We recommend Bretagne be placed in a home with older human siblings 15 years of age or older due to her excitable nature. She is still figuring out that she is safe and we arent going to abandon her
so we fully expect her to settle in nicely and become a perfect companion for the perfect family. Bretagne is fully vetted, Heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in Bretagne please go to our website and complete the online pre-adoption application
