　　Visit us on Facebook! Will you be Fay's hero? Meet Fay Ray, a two to three year old female boxer/Weimaraner mix. This is one of the most interesting-looking dogs you will ever see. Her pictures don't accurately show it but her coat has a silvery tint with some dappled gray and tan. And she has the most striking gold and grey eyes. Just so unique. Her body is mostly like a boxer including a docked tail. But her legs and ears are like a Weimaraner. Fay Ray is a good size dog, weighing 51 pounds and could stand to put on a few more. She was a stray turned into our local Animal Shelter and had been down there over two months. We had to get her out of there. Fay is a very nice, sweet dog. She is not real high energy but will need exercising or room to run. She will require a fenced yard. Fay is very social and loves, loves, loves to be with people (in your lap if you let her!). But she is somewhat picky on what other dogs she likes. Fay may be better as an only child or we would need to do a trial to make sure she does okay with other dogs in the household. She should be great with children,12 and up and is not really jumpy. She does have one leg that is longer than the other. We don't know if this is genetic or if she had a leg injury that did not heal properly heal. Thus, she may not be a good candidate to go running with. It doesn't bother her but just don't want to over tax it. We are working on her crate training. Fay is up to date on her vet care, spayed and is heartworm negative. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. The lucky owner of this dog will definitely have a one of a kind dog with Fay -- and be proud of it! Our adoption fee is $75.
