Bowie's story

　　Bowie is a shy 1 year old Cairn Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He weighs just under 14 pounds and is full grown. Bowie is a very sweet boy that likes to take his time with new people. He does best with women and would prefer to be a his ladies prince charming. Bowie has had a rough couple of months since first being surrendered to the Humane Society because his original owner passed away. Bowie has been passed through a couple different homes but he hasn't found the right match yet, he came to just the right place so we can help him find his perfect forever home. He will need a very loving and patient home that will give him time to adjust and work with him on his manners. Bowie would do best as the only dog, he has done okay with other calm small dogs and does like to play if he feels comfortable but Bowie does not like to share his food, treats or toys. With his person Bowie is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, he would make a great companion for a single woman who is looking for a buddy. Bowie is kennel trained and walks good on a leash. He does get a little nervous in the car and would ride best in a kennel for his safety. Bowie is a lover and cannot wait to find his one true forever home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked. His adoption fee is $240 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance.
