Meet Borneo!

　　He is one playful cat with plenty of energy! Before he can go home he will need to be tested with other animals. One fun thing about Borneo is that he is a polydactyl cat! This means that he has extra toes on his feet. There are a few pictures of his feet on his profile so you can see what we mean! That being said, potential adopters will need to take his extra toes into consideration because they do come with some extra work.

　　When cats have extra toes, they have extra claws on their feet as well which are usually situated between and beneath the normal toes. This means that those claws are not able to be sharpened normally like the other toes. This leads to a higher chance of the claws growing into the paw pad and becoming infected. Borneo's owners will need to make sure that they take special care to watch this on his feet and are able to take the proper care of trimming his extra nails on a regular basis.
