Border Collie - Joy - Large - Young - Female - Dog
Joy was rescued off the streets by a kind Samaritan, This nice lady went to great lengths to make sure that she ended up with a no kill rescue (us!) and not the county shelter! Holly is big and young....about 8 months old and full of joy...thus her name:) She loves people, kids, other dogs and wants very most of all a family of her own! She thinks her rescue shelter with a warm bed and food every day are absolutely unbelievable good fortune:) She walks on a leash and is a sweetheart who so needs a family to love her for ever and ever! Joy is truly a miracle girl who needed some serious vet help as unbeknownst to us she had recently been hit by a car and suffered some severe trauma to her face. The good news is she will be fine as our vet was able to remove a shattered tooth. She did lose the facial nerve on half her face which does mean that she will always look a little different BUT she is fine! The damage is not reversible but it is stable so she will be fine but will never look like a typical dog. She is beautiful, sweet, loving....and an awesome family member. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $175. Please call or email for more info or to meet this great girl. [email removed] or
Thank you for thinking rescue!
