　　Update Aug. 2012: Hurricane Isaac forced ARF to evacuate and the volunteers were lucky enough to get to spend a few days with the most wonderful Rescue Dogs on the planet!! This is the beautiful Miss DEMI! DEMI is SUPER smart, friendly and companionable towards humans and other dogs. She is so much fun! DEMI?S favorite activity is anything outdoors, but she LOVES playing fetch. With an intense and watchful eye, Miss DEMI tackles every task put before her with the focus of an Olympic Athlete. This girl can catch anything out of the air. She would be for agility training. She smiles a lot and she LOVES walks. If you are the active type that is looking for a companion that is intelligent, observant, and an excellent problem-solver, then sweet DEMI is the ARFan for you!! After the storm is over come on down to ARF and meet and play with this amazing girl and fall in love! Hi, I'm DEMI. I moved here after the April 27 tornadoes. Some of the nice people from ARF came to North AL help out after the storms and took me home with them. I have been at ARF ever since. I have overheard the volunteers at ARF say I get along with everyone, and I am the perfect dog...that I would be the perfect pet for a family! Sounds good to me! DEMI is a female Border Collie / Terrier mix and is approximately 2 years old (Aug. 2012). She is a medium size dog and weighed about 35 pounds when she arrived at ARF. DEMI is a sweet girl and loves people. She is an active girl and LOVES to play! She gets along great with other dogs. DEMI loves to play ball and play in the kiddie pool! DEMI is a smart girl and is eager to learn and please. She is learning basic commands and knows "sit" and is learning "lie down". DEMI likes to go for walks and to the park.
