Boone Bernstein's story

　　Hi.

　　My name is Boone. I was seen living on post office grounds in South LA for a month. A woman was feeding me but I was unsure so I wouldn't let her catch me. Finally, a nice guy came and was able to get me. Hoping an owner would be looking for me I went to the shelter. Sadly, no one came. I was very scared and shut down there but luckily the Rescue came to get me!

　　I am now living in a foster home in Encino with other dogs and a bunny and I am slowly learning to trust people again. I tend to be more cautious with men but I do warm up once I know you. I am a very kind, loving dog and in time I will blossom-just you wait and see!

　　I am around 10 years old and I weigh 60 lbs. I would love to meet you
