My story
Boone is a 3-year-old male Hound who has already been neutered. His short coat is black with brown markings; he is quite a handsome fellow. Boone came to PAHS as a stray from out in the county. After his owner never came looking for him--Boone became available for adoption. He currently weighs 52 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Boone is a popular guy at the shelter. He gets along well with all the other dogs; and this friendly guy would be wonderful in a home with older children. Boone is a little too active for younger children and might accidentally knock one down. Come out soon and meet our Boone; he would love to be a member of your family. ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
